The SRAM Apex XPLR D1 rear derailleur aims for the sweet spot of smooth jumps over a big gear range, with chain security and 1x simplicity. X-Horizon design limits movement to the horizontal axis, which makes ghost shifting impossible and reduces shift force, and a clutch controls chain tension. It works with 12-speed mechanical Apex and Eagle shifters and cassettes with 44T large cogs; use it with FlatTop chains.
