The Maxxis Aspen ST is an ultra-low-profile race tire with an assortment of knob sizes and shapes, designed for short track XC with predictable cornering and braking. It suits dry conditions on hardpacked dirt and trail riding where speed takes precedence over traction, and it can be run as a front or rear tire. MaxxSpeed rubber uses a silica filler to improve speed and wet traction while further reducing rolling resistance by 25%, and EXO sidewall protection helps prevent punctures from sidewall abrasions. Choose 29x2.25 or 29x2.4, with 120 or 170 TPI casings depending on the version.
