Designed, engineered and patented by Mavic and 100% handmade in France, the Cosmic Ultimate is a tubeless carbon road wheel that balances weight, stiffness and aerodynamics. Its 45mm full carbon rim is joined by R2R elliptical carbon spokes that run from one side of the rim to the other as a single spoke, so no mechanical attachment is needed. With no rim drilling, it is naturally tubeless compatible and airtight without tape. High, thin carbon hub flanges add stiffness, and the rear ID360 freewheel offers 40 points and 9 degrees of engagement for nearly instant power delivery.
