Consignment Policies

How does it work?
  • We SELL your gear for you (we do not BUY equipment from you)
  • All consignment are on a 50/50 split
  • 90-Day consignment period
  • Seasonal timing for ski/snowboard gear
Important Notes
  • You must have a valid ID (drivers license or passport)
  • Email photos of larger items to sportsplusdenver@gmail.com
  • We do not accept bicycle consignments
  • Store credits usable in-store only (can't be used online)
  • In-person consignment only at our Denver location

  • Check out our Most Wanted Items page
  • Bring us your clean and unwanted gear
  • We'll appraise it, create an account for you, which you can use to track your consignment progress
  • Track sales with your ConsignorAccess account from anywhere!
  • Get paid when your items sell
  • BONUS: Get +10% when you choose store credit!
Expert Consignor Tips
  • Bring seasonal items in the proper season (skis in winter, golf in summer, etc)
  • Clean and freshen your gear before bringing it in to us
  • Include all accessories
  • Recent gear preferred - the newer the better!
  • Trust our pricing expertise. We've seen it all and generally know what something will sell for in our store.

Store History

Founded in 1980, Sports Plus began as a small, locally-owned sporting goods shop with one simple mission: to make sports more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. What started as a humble bike service and repair shop has grown into a Denver staple for new and used sporting gear, rentals, and expert service across ski, snowboard, hockey, bike, and more. For over 40 years, we’ve earned our reputation by combining honest pricing, knowledgeable staff, and a true love for the games we play. Whether you’re hitting the slopes, sharpening skates, or gearing up for your next adventure, Sports Plus is proud to be your go-to stop for all things sports.

Holiday Closures

We want you to be prepared for our holiday closures, so please note that we’ll be closed on these days:

  • New Year’s Day

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship most items all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

What is the Return Policy?

We want you to love what you buy from us, but in case you need to return something, here’s how it works:

For Items Purchased Online:

Our online return policy can be found HERE.

For Items Purchased In-Store:

  • Used (consignment) items: Return for store credit within 3 days of purchase.
  • New items: Return within 7 days of purchase.

Important:

  • All returns must be in their original condition with the original tags attached.
  • NO RETURNS on discounted merchandise, cups, mouth guards, new or sharpened skates, and labor services.
