Maxxis Tire Assegai 27.5x2.5 BK FOLD/60 MT/EXO/TR (SKU 594648)

The Maxxis Assegai is Greg Minnaar's signature downhill tire, designed by the 3 time World Champ himself. It combines elements from 4 of his favorite Maxxis tires, the DHR II, DHF, Shorty and High Roller, with alternating vertical knobs with deep siping and 3 horizontal knobs paired with large corner knobs for improved traction in the turns. This version uses the 3C Maxx Terra compound, which is softer and offers more traction than 3C Maxx Speed while still wearing better and rolling easier than Maxx Grip, plus EXO sidewall protection against sidewall abrasions. Tubeless ready, in 29x2.5, 27.5x2.5 and 29x2.6.
