The casing combines a 55 TPI layer with a 120 TPI layer for a supple yet supportive feel, with pinch protection inserts at the bead for improved durability and retention. Bead to Bead Shield improves puncture resistance across the whole tire, Trail/Tread Shield adds a puncture-resistant band beneath the tread that extends into the shoulder, and the Magi-X compound was developed with technology used in MotoGP.
