Alternating vertical knobs with deep siping and 3 horizontal knobs, paired with large corner knobs, give the Maxxis Assegai improved traction in the turns. This version uses 3C Maxx Grip rubber, which offers strong grip and slow rebound properties for downhill applications, along with Double Down construction: two full 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert. The Wide Track casing is optimized for rims over 35mm internal width, and the tire is tubeless ready (sealant required). It's a 29x2.5 folding tire in black.
