DT Swiss pairs the AR 1600 Spline with tires chosen to work together as aerodynamically as possible: an Aero 111 in 26mm on the front wheel and a Continental GP 5000 STR in 28mm on the rear. The Aero 111, developed with Continental, has 48 vortex generators to reduce drag. The wheels are aero optimized aluminum clinchers laced to a dependable 350 series hub with DT Aero Comp II straightpull spokes, a hidden nipple system and DT Pro Lock nipples.
